Guided Franciscan Pilgrimage

“You don’t think yourself into a new way of living, but you live yourself into a new way of thinking.”

~ Richard Rohr

Background

In 2019 I walked the Camino Francesco for the first time and it impacted me profoundly. At the time I had been feeling that many of my experiences over the last decade were trailing behind me and needed to catch up to me. I was ready to integrate them into my present state of being and walking the camino provided me with the space to do so.

The year I lived in Assisi taught me about Franciscan spirituality or what Richard Rohr (Franciscan friar and author) termed “the alternative orthodoxy.” His universal view of the Catholic (meaning “all embracing”) faith resonated strongly with my experience of God and helped me to integrate my love for Buddhist practice, Jungian psychology, stoic philosophy, shamanic wisdom, with my Christian roots.

Whatever your spiritual path, I would like to walk with you as your guide and companion in the footsteps of this humble man, Saint Francis, through the glorious landscapes and medieval towns of Tuscany and Umbria, and be a witness to how life calls you forward.
